for our upcoming trip we used magical journeys for all our needs. does this tyoe of service generally receive tips? and if so how much is generally done?

Hmmm... it never occurred to me to tip a travel agent. But now I'm worried! Should I have? I've never heard of that, but maybe I'm the lowlife that doesn't tip! Oh lordy I'm sorry Jennifer @ Magical Journeys! You certainly deserve a tip for all your hard work! After all these years I probably owe you a trip to WDW as a tip! 
Buttercup, I am in the same boat. Kathy@magical journeys was awsome to work with. we have 4 different groups going and she handled all of the groups, with changes and questions, flawlessly.

I have never heard of tipping travel agents, but I have sent a gift or flowers before.

Denise, Kathy and all the wonderful people at Magical Journeys really deserve tips, but honestly, the thoughtless guy I am never even thought about it. Now I feel like a heel!!! After all these wonderful people have done for me over the years.

Probably, the greatest "tip" you can give them is re-using them every time.

Tips are not required, nor expected!
The truly BEST thing you can do for your agent is pass her name along to other people looking to go to WDW, DL, ABD, Universal, Cruises (ALL, not just Disney) etc. Ask your agent what she specializes in since a few have branched into other areas.
Referrals are the backbone of our business! We need your help.
The Agents work solely on commission, if they have a month that has low bookings, they are eating franks and beans. LOL
So, if you like your agent.......TELL PEOPLE! Tell LOTS of people. Sing her praises, talk her up.
It is the bestest thing you can do for her, and it costs you nothing.
