We are waiting for Disney to open up booking for 2018. Funds in the bank waiting for the purpose they were saved for. Any idea when that might be?

Summer. I hate how they do this. I wish they would allow booking at a rolling year in advance...let the booking calendar go out 12 months like most other places do.

INTERCOT Staff: Disneyland Resort-California, The Water Cooler
You can make a room only reservation up to 499 days in advance, but you have to call (better yet, contact Magical journeys and let then take care of it for you). Disney will ask for one night room and tax (at the current rack rate) add a deposit and then adjust once the official 2018 rates are released.

We were in your situation last year. We wanted to book May of this year and patiently waited until package pricing and booking was available. :mickey: I just looked back through my emails. The 2017 pricing was released on June 21 and we booked our package that day. I was expecting July from what other years had been but it was released in June instead last year.
