I don't think it's going to be an issue for anyone with Erika, but since there's been a lot of anxiety over guests coming in with a potential Florida strike, here's the WDW hurricane policy FAQ that should help you know what to expect just in case.

We were there during the 2004 Hurricane seasoN. The WDW co. had TV stations continually running weather, park, and local "curfew" updates. Prior to the curfew, they had as many cast members they could get staffed and helping guests ...making sure they were aware of curfews...stressing that each guest had food and water for a 24 hours while they were in their guest room. They had foam coolers available for purchase and plenty of food for purchase. They dining staff allowed me to take extra cutlery and plates/bowls back to my room. There was a flash light provided to each guest room and a paper explaining safety policies.

We never lost power. Never lost phone (land line). Always had Disney movies streaming on the TV. We spent at least 24 hours in our room. That is difficult to do with a 3 year old that wants to swim in that pool "right there", but he survived and so did we.

The key is to be prepared. They stressed that the entire day leading up to the curfew.
