Oof, yeah that was bad. Don't like her, but korina's outfit was great. She deserved the win.

Also I amend my previous statement, the winner's prize is from red robin not Applebee's. Still makes me go "huh?"

I agree. I was skeptical at first, but it looked great on the runway.

Seriously! That suit challenge when they were eating bottomless fries while they were sketching... oi vey can you get any more in our faces with product placement? Sheesh.

And I didn't mention the save... At first I was surprised Tim used to save because as Sherri has mentioned, Char has been underwhelming. But then I realized it's currently NY Fashion week, and it's long been a Project Runway practice to have every one still currently in the running have a show, even though only the top 3 are aired. So maybe Tim knew that and decided to throw her a bone?

Why couldn't they have just let Kini have the win alone this week. To me his work was most fitting with the theme. And to me the hat that Nina hated so reminded me of the handle topper of an umbrella that I once had.
To me other than the trick of the dye, Sean's dress was boring and hardly designer worthy. Back 55 years ago, when I was 16, my grandmother made me a sun dress that was almost exactly like the one Sean did. It was slightly shorter, a little bit more coverage on the top and the fabric was white eyelet. My grandma made a lot of my clothes and I often wish I would have kept them, they would be so perfect for my granddaughter. She also taught me how to sew when I was 8 and instilled a great love of fashion. I love and miss her so, she would have loved this show.

Kay, I pretty much agree with everything you said. Sean did have a bit of a WOW moment when the dye started to run, but the actual dress wasn't anything special. And Sandhya on the top with that circus outfit! The pinwheels really were too much for me. It looked very crafty.

I was sad to see Fade go, even though he did deserve it. He had some pretty interesting designs along the way that got passed over time after time. Ah well.

I think it was a good decision to have the two winners. Kini had the awesome design/construction and Sean had the wow runway moment. Both were awesome to me.

I agree that sandhya again was a wtf moment. I really think they keep her just for the "drama". I am positive she will be around for the final just for that bit of "what will she come up with?"

I think Emily should have gone home over fade. Can't really think of anything memorable that she has done and I hated her look this week. Fade has done some interesting stuff and I really liked his dress, it was just not enough.

Color me shocked that sandhya is out. I thought for sure they'd keep her to fashion week for the added drama of it all. Glad to see it though, she was waaaay too out there and very cocky.

I'm a little surprised she got the auf, as well, but she deserved it! That outfit was horrendous.

I think she went home as much for her attitude, not listening to the judges and what came off as back talking, as how bad and outdated that garment was. I loved this challenge and was so happy to see Kini get a win all of his own.

Great point. If there's one thing these contestants should know by now, it's that you at least have to pretend you can see the judges' point. And they were right- it looked like a baby romper.

Just caught up with the last two weeks. Team Kini for the win! He has been blowing me away. I've liked everything he has done, and have really loved some of them (like the American Girl ensemble- over the top perfect). I didn't hate Sandyha's rain ensemble if she had scaled it back a bit, but I thought she might be finally on her way out. No surprise this week at all. She was hands down the worst design out there, way too young in design for the age group.

Wow! Last night was DRA-MA. Part of me understands Korina's point but the minute she got mouthy she did herself in. Her bitter comments were are major turn off. This is not the first time she's shown this ugliness, either. She may have some interesting design ideas but she's not going to get very far with that attitude.

Wow, that really was ugly. She simply could not accept that she was not one of the best. I did not like her designs last night (and most weeks, her American Girl design was the only one of hers I really liked- but she did have some decent efforts). Really glad she's gone. Kini remains my favorite.

Thank goodness she's gone. Oh, wait a minute from the preview of next weeks show it looks like she will be back again for continued ugliness.

Yikes! Just got caught up (got back last night from Disney! Already miss it!). That was a lot of drama. I don't agree with the judges decision based on talent alone, I think korina deserved to stay. I haven't seen anything innovative from char. However, korina's attitude and sense of entitlement was awful do I'm certainly not sorry to see her go.

My sentiments, too. Korina hasn't WOWED me but she's had some OK pieces and at least tries some things that are a little different. Char is a nice person, but played it safe, and as Sherri has noted in this thread, her looks are dated. Korina's attitude, however, was awful! And the way in which she was influencing her model to trash talk as well? Ugh. Total mean girl.

I am also on team Kini. He just seems like a nice guy, and he almost always delivers.
