I don't think anyone would care if Maelstrom is refurbed in general... It needs it...

Given the history of recent refurbs at Epcot, people *should* be concerned about it. Test Track is the only one I can think of that has been positively received.

Very good point and some would even argue that they messed up on Test Track, too.

Not arguing with you, but which refurbs have been negative other than Figment? Which, really isn't all that recent. I can't think of any.

OK, I still really enjoy Spaceship Earth, though it feels unfinished with the end of the scenes being something that happened 40 years ago.

O' Canada is much better than the previous incarnation. Adding Nemo to The Seas wasn't bad at all. Test Track's refurb has some cool stuff in it, even it is just an overlay of the original ride (so that some of it doesn't make sense....what's up with the tractor trailer?)

OK, i'll admit it. I really like the Three Caballeros Gran Fiesta Tour. But my wife hates it. I think it's much more entertaining than El Rio de Tiempo was. That just felt like a creepier version of It's a Small World.

Next up - January 2023 short trip! We just want to try that 50th Anniversary chocolate monstrosity at Mexico!

I was including Spaceship Earth and Living Seas in that. We can go all the way back to Imagination for a real disaster. The mothballing of Wonders of Life to be a festival center is another imaginative move. I love The Three Caballeros, but that Gran Fiesta Tour attraction stinks compared to El Rio del Tiempo for me. I only ride it when my kids beg me too, but otherwise I have just about forgot that it even exists.

I realize it is probably my own fault that I expect Disney to remember what THEY said the park was supposed to be about. At this point, Future World actually makes me think of the Island of Misfit Toys. I can't hardly blame the guests for having no idea what it is supposed to be since Disney doesn't even remember.

Maybe this new Frozen thing will be amazing and people will love it. It would be the exception to the trend.

Interesting. I'm the opposite and I'm quite the thinker. I see what Future World is about [or at least my interpretation.]
From space travel, to food supply, to oceanography, to car production.
But as always, I appear to be the lone wolf on many things here at ICOT [but I've always marched to the beat of my own drum. hehehe ;)]
