Bye, Bye, Burger
10/11/15 Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe debuted a new menu earlier this month after a short refurbishment. The Frontierland location in the Magic Kingdom is now serving a Tex-Mex inspired line-up of Burritos, Fajitas, Southwest Style Rice Bowls, Southwest Style Salads, Enchilada Soup, Churros, and Sopapillas.
Splash Surprise
10/11/15 The Magic Kingdom’s common closure of Splash Mountain during January is slated to be less than a week in 2016. Although all schedules are subject to change, the park’s signature attraction is currently schedule to be closed January 10 – 14, 2016. Splash Mountain has been historically closed for a lengthy refurbishment during the ‘cold season’ at the beginning of each calendar year.
Grand Dining Choices
10/11/15 Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is offering some new dining choices for Guests. Starting November 22, 2015; Guests will be able to enjoy brunch at Narcoossee’s. The Narcoossee’s Waterfront Brunch will feature a 4 course Prix Fixe menu priced at $69 for Guests Ages 10 and Up and $41 for Guests Ages 3-9. The resort is also adding more choices for its Guests looking for more casual dinning choices. Gasparilla Island Grill is now serving a ‘Specialty Hot Dog of the Day’ inspired by different regional American cuisines. Guests may find hot dogs inspired by such cities as Seattle, Cleveland, Kansas City, Memphis, New York, or Chicago.
Bridge Out Ahead
10/11/15 In early September, Disney’s Caribbean Beach resort closed the bridges linking Old Port Royale, Caribbean Cay, and the Jamaica/Aruba area. The convenient causeway is planned to be closed for renovations through November 25, 2015.
Character Change-Up
10/11/15 The Walt Disney World resort has been busy shuffling Character Meet & Greets this Fall. On October 8th, Disney’s Hollywood Studios debuted a new Minnie Mouse Meet & Greet near Disney Junior – Live on Stage!. Also at the studios, Sorcerer Mickey Mouse can now be found at a new Meet & Greet near the former queue for the Backlot Tour. Over at Epcot, Duffy The Disney Bear was retired from the daily character offerings on October 3, 2015. Character Cast have reported that Daisy Duck will begin a new Meet & Greet in Duffy’s former gazebo location. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Flik began a new Meet & Greet on October 4th on Discovery Island. Finally at the Magic Kingdom, a new Meet & Greet in Adventureland featuring Rafiki has opened while the Tommorowland Meet & Greet featuring Stitch has closed.

I didn't realize he was that popular. I like the movie, but figured it had run its course. Many years ago we ran into Flik at one of the paths down around Discovery River, and there was one other party there and no one coming. Felt bad for the character...

That's weird. Maybe it's an iPhone thing? I just posted that I could see them so it wouldn't be seen as a universal problem.
